Welcome to Local Maids LTD. By booking or using our cleaning services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your use of our services and form a legally binding agreement between you and Local Maids LTD.

1. Definitions

“Company” refers to Local Maids LTD, registered in England and Wales with company number 15068337.

“Client” refers to the individual or entity booking services from the Company.

“Cleaner” refers to the individual providing cleaning services, vetted and insured by the Company.

2. Booking and Services

All bookings must be made through our website, by phone, or via email. Services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to reschedule appointments if necessary. It is the responsibility of the client to provide accurate information about the property, cleaning requirements, and to ensure access to the premises at the scheduled time.

3. Payments and Refunds

Payments for services are processed by card and taken three days in advance of the scheduled clean. Funds are held and not captured until the cleaning service has been completed. During the hold period, payments may appear as pending in your account. If you are dissatisfied with the service, you may request a free re-clean or a refund under our Money-Back Guarantee. Such requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the service being completed.

4. Cleaning Materials

Clients are responsible for providing cleaning materials and equipment unless otherwise agreed. Local Maids LTD can provide a recommended list of materials to ensure the best results. Since our services are typically recurring, it is advisable to have supplies readily available at the property.

5. Liability and Insurance

All our cleaners are vetted and insured, with coverage of up to £1 million for damages caused during the service. Local Maids LTD is not liable for damages resulting from defective cleaning materials or equipment provided by the client. Any damages must be reported within 24 hours of the service.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Clients must notify us of cancellations or rescheduling at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations may incur a fee equal to the full cost of the scheduled service.

7. Health and Safety

Our cleaners reserve the right to refuse tasks they deem unsafe or hazardous. Clients are required to ensure the property is safe and free from hazards prior to the cleaner’s arrival.

8. Privacy Policy

Any personal data provided through the website or during booking is processed in compliance with UK GDPR. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

10. Amendments

Local Maids LTD reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
